Quality Policy


New Metal Surfaces (NMS) is a quality focused company that provides surface coatings that preserve the life of worn components and increases the life cycle of new components. We seek to serve our customers with respect by understanding their needs and clearly meeting their objectives. We foster an environment of continual improvement through strong leadership and a process driven approach, so that our customers can be assured they are dealing with an industry leader.

We will ensure that all coating services meet our customer’s specifications by conducting a final quality inspection on all goods before delivery.

Key principles for setting quality objectives

  • Scott Loughton (Managing Director) will provide clear leadership with measurable objectives, using the quality management system to achieve the company’s goals.


  • Good relationships, both internal and external, are foundational to NMS.


  • Customer experience, satisfaction and confidence are paramount. We will address any complaint seriously and use all feedback to continually improve our products and services. This will include continual improvement of the quality management system.


  • The well-being of all employees will be ensured through their valued participation.


  • All staff will be provided with a safe work environment.


  • Improvement opportunities for employees will occur through targeted training of all staff.


  • Relationships with suppliers will be beneficial to both parties. Key relationships will be monitored.


  • A systems approach that is consistent with ISO 9001:2015 will be developed and maintained to ensure compliance to regulations and other standards through fact-based decision making. We are committed to satisfying customer, legal and other requirements.


  • Records will be maintained for traceability, and customer information will be treated in confidence and with security.



  • The quality management system will be monitored through auditing and reviewed regularly. Modifications will be made through careful planning for the purpose of continual improvement.
